As a long-time seeker of methods enhancing personal growth and inner peace, Blethen-Levy has followed many paths and philosophers for 40 years. She is a media professional and formerly was Executive Director, Season of Sharing Fund. She named, launched and managed the project for 16 years during which time SOS became the most successful media fundraiser in the U.S. on a per capita basis.

Education and training includes University of California, Berkeley (English Literature, Photography); Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, England; College of Marin, Kentfield, California; and ongoing reading and workshops with Human Psychologists, philosophers, and teachers.

She holds certificates for Small Business NxLevel, eMarketing and as a Financial Planning Trainer.

She also learns about people, places and things by travelling the world. She’s visited 35 countries . . . most recently cruising on a ship following Hurricane Thomas to nine Caribbean Ports.

Blethen-Levy has more than 25 years’ experience as an illustrator and is an award-winning photographer. She has won awards from the California Book Publishers Association, the City of San Francisco and several Bay Area Counties for management of The Season of Sharing Fund. She also received a Scholastic Award for The Maritime Heritage Project.

Publications include Web Marketing: New Methods = $$; Great Outdoors Adventure Fair Guide, a tab Publication (28 pages). Editor and writer for Outdoors in the Classroom (150 pages), a workbook distributed through California Schools to 60,000+ schoolchildren. She wrote the first newsletter for Mahareshi Mahesh Yogi’s Transcendental Meditation Center in San Francisco. She builds Web sites and blogs for companies and individuals and leads seminars on Social Networking and “Marketing You: Time for Change.”

Founder/CEO of LePapillon Day Spa, Rohnert Park, California. Laverne has been a part of healing professions for seventeen years. She is certified in LMT/CMT and is a Reiki Master. After practicing for more than fifteen years in exclusive salons, spas and health facilities in Marin, Laverne brought her vast training to Rohnert Park in beautiful new facilities from 2006-2010.

Laverne’s life is devoted to caring for individuals and assisting them to better health through various methods including traditional massage, Reiki, and now EFT.

She has worked with Novato Chiropractic in Novato, as a Head Massuse and as a Medical Massuse for Doctor Moses Jacob at Rolling Hills in Novato. With a partner, she established a Feng Shui Space Clearing practice for commercial and domestic spaces. She also taught Reiki I, II and III Classes between 2000 and 2004 in the lovely Rolling Hills Club in Novato, California.
